A few weeks ago I met Billy McNamara (see UCI - My experience with famous actor Billy McNamara) and just recently had another wonderful encounter with one of Hollywood's finest.

I was outside by my pool enjoying the hot Arizona sun when my cell rang. "Hi Dr. Turi, this is Jordan, how are you?"

"Great" I replied, "What's going on my friend?"
"Well I have someone else I want you to meet in person next week end, are you available?" he said.

"Of course, are you going to set me up with another famous actor?" I asked.

"Yes, his name is Gary Busey and he is a very famous actor who is known worldwide for his many movies with top names in the industry. We will meet him in his house in Malibu so be ready to do a private session on him," he added.

In the past I had been invited to Peter Fonda's birthday party in Rancho Santa Fe. I also did the stars of the young actors of "Days of our Lives," and famous actor Gary Busey. But I never met him in person and I was quite happy to do so.

Then completely out of the blue Gary called and we spent a few minutes talking and confirming our meeting and getting directions. Like Peter and Billy, Gary was also very spiritual and we both felt an instant kinship. We arranged to meet in his house by the ocean in Malibu the next weekend. Born in June, Gary is a great talker and very friendly. Again with so many movies and television series and such fame, anyone might expect to deal with an egocentric self-centered man. Jordan and I drove west through the mountains separating Los Angeles to the 101 freeway then close to our destination, getting the final directions from Gary on my cell phone. His beautiful house is located atop a mountain right by the ocean and what a view! His first words at his door were, "Hello Dr. Turi I have heard a lot about you and I was strongly recommended by Mr. Maxwell to meet with you." He had a huge cigar in his mouth and wide smile that lit his entire face. He told me he had a special collection of French wine and asked invited me to try some. Gary was very friendly as he gave us a tour of his beautiful property. We all felt very comfortable together, as if we had known each other for a long time. Like Billy, Gary showed me the same mutual respect and diligence, as his curious mind never stopped picking my brain about everything under the sun and the stars. We spent hours talking about everyything spiritual, and I saw a side of the famous actor that not many people would know. Gary is well known for his eccentricity and it certainly shows in his stars! This is because he was born with Uranus the planet of originality and weirdness on his first house of personality!

The man is so spiritual and such a philosopher. It was great that he was able to stir that deep and private side of himself and share it so openly with me. He pulled out some writing that he did over the years, and began to read some incredibly powerful poetry right there on his patio. The blue sky, the ensuing California sunset made it all even more passionate and real. As a Gemini (communicator) he naturally channeled information from the archetypal realm of consciousness and I made him aware of this fact. We spoke stars, spirit, predictions etc. We sat at his diner table and I did a tarot reading. I will not infringe on Gary's privacy about his life but what a surprise at the end of the session when he grabbed me and hugged me strongly saying "Dr. Turi it is a true honor to have met you". Before I left Gary grabbed his guitar and asked me if he could sing a song he wrote. And what a song and what lyrics he sung. Only a man with such a depth could sing or write such a melody. I was astonished by his sensitivity and concern for the world. I have learnt that regardless of what an image or a mask a man projects in his public life, in time and with the right people, the real soul will emerge and expose its true face and feelings. As I left his house for LA we hugged each other in anticipation of our next meeting.

A few days later at my home, Gary called me and he was totally amazed even mesmerized by my abilities to perceive his life and his fate in general days ahead of time. He loaded me with compliments and told me he was to stay in Scottsdale for a meeting and he wanted to spend more time with me …I told him that I would be more than happy to do so.

I can't wait to take Gary out to my favorite places. And as with Billy, many people will recognize him from his movies and will ask for his autograph. I am myself very popular everywhere I go and my new friends can only add more to the experience. Again, like Billy and myself, Gary is very human and down to earth. In some ways popularity, wisdom, fame, money, and even incredible physical attraction do not guarantee success in all parts of life or love.

What an impressive soul Gary really is, he was born late June and he reflects all the wisdom and gentleness of a true Cancer, with a touch of Uranus (originality) and a speedy Gemini nature (ruled by Mercury). All Gary needed really was to be himself and to express himself in a way that his fame does not allow him to do and with me he simply feels at home. Gary has many very famous friends and I know as did Billy, he will indeed honestly talk about me and refer my services to his trusted friends.

NEW YORK - Late last year, Julio Vasquez and Thomas Rachko donned NYPD raid jackets and set the stage for the city's worst police-corruption scandal in a decade.

The veteran detectives stopped a drug courier and allegedly stole nearly $170,000 in cash he was carrying. They didn't know other narcotics officers were watching.

Facing a federal indictment, Vasquez and Rachko began cooperating with investigators. Law enforcement officials now say up to 10 other current and former officers, all one-time members of the same narcotics task force, are suspects in the theft of drugs and drug money.

The widening investigation has embarrassed the nation's largest police department and threatened to tarnish its war on drugs. It also has drawn comparisons to the notorious "Dirty 30" corruption scandal in the early 1990s.

In that case, more than 30 police officers from Harlem's 30th Precinct were accused of stealing cash from drug dealers, taking bribes, beating suspects and lying under oath to cover their tracks.

Police officials insist the current case appears unlikely to reach the same proportions. They also believe that — unlike previous corruption cases involving organized crews of thieving officers — the suspects acted individually and at varying times dating back as far as 15 years.

"We're still going to fight narcotics but also preserve the integrity of the department," said the NYPD's top spokesman, Paul Browne.

Vasquez, Rachko and Christian Joel Hernandez — a reputed drug courier who allegedly helped them pilfer hundreds of thousands of dollars in drug proceeds — pleaded innocent Friday to charges including money laundering, narcotics conspiracy and lying to federal agents.

Both former officers left federal court without speaking to reporters. But an attorney for the courier, Dawn Florio, claimed her client had information that could further damage the department's reputation.

"This thing is going to mushroom," she said. "If my client had to be arrested, at least he's going to bring down a lot of police officers."

Vasquez and Rachko apparently met when they worked together as detectives on a team of officers seeking to disrupt the drug trade in Upper Manhattan neighborhoods.

Investigators allege, that starting in 1998, the detectives either stole cash from detained suspects or took cocaine and recruited dealers to sell the drug for a cut of the profit, authorities said.

Their success became evident late last year during a search of a storage locker rented by Vasquez. Inside was $744,370. Rachko allegedly stashed $68,680 at a garbage dump.

Rachko, 45, retired in 2002. Vasquez, 43, stayed on the job but left narcotics to join a gun-investigation unit. He quit the force after his arrest.

Even though Rachko was already retired, authorities say, the two worked together one more time on the day before Thanksgiving last year.

Hernandez, the courier, had alerted them he would be delivering $169,000 to a money launderer, and the men allegedly hatched a plan to stage an arrest and divide the cash.
v However, a team of city officers and federal investigators had been trailing Hernandez in a separate investigation. The man Hernandez believed was a money launderer was actually an undercover officer, authorities said.

On Nov. 26, Hernandez got out of a car with a black bag and walked toward the undercover officer, authorities said. At that moment — to the surprise of the undercover officer and his surveillance team — Vasquez and Rachko jumped out of an unmarked police car and grabbed the courier, authorities said.

Vasquez "looked inside the bag, smiled and gave a thumbs-up gesture to defendant Rachko," court papers said.

An agent confronted Vasquez, who claimed he was in the midst of his own electronic surveillance operation, authorities said.
