Jimmy Buffett had Merkel cell skin cancer at the time of his death, his website says!
BUT THAT IS NOT THE CAUSE OF HIS DEATH!
Buffett had been fighting Merkel cell skin cancer at the time of his death, according to an updated obituary on his official website. He had the disease for four years and continued to perform during treatment.
DT rebuttal: Skin cancer can be deadly, but the likelihood of this depends on several factors, such as the type of skin cancer, how early it is detected, and the person’s overall health. While basal cell and squamous cell carcinomas are not usually life-threatening, melanoma is the most dangerous type of skin cancer. And Buffett did not die only because of melanoma.
The singer-songwriter was briefly hospitalized in May following a trip to the Bahamas. “I had to stop in Boston for a checkup but wound up back in the hospital to address some issues that needed immediate attention,” he told his followers in a social media post.

@lisagonzalez7304 – Dr Turi, I do remember when you predicted the hurricanes in Louisiana. What I did is when you were on Coast to Coast, I printed it out on a paper and put it on my board at work. I use to write the names of the hurricanes underneath them when they happen while there were on my board at work. My coworkers use to see them as I posted them and they were amazed when they saw the names of the hurricanes and the dates were spot on. Please keep us informed. I really to appreciate it.
